Shipping & Returns


All personalization is completed by hand in the UK and we attempt to dispatch ASAP, usually within 1 week - however, please note that at busier times this may take up to 2 weeks. Please contact us for more details on dispatch dates for your order.


We use Royal Mail First Class for all UK shipping.
We use Royal Mail International Standard for all our overseas shipping.

We will send you a shipping confirmation when your order has been shipped.

Overseas customers: To comply with current shipping legislation, your package will have a customs label stuck on the outside which describes what is inside the parcel. For example, if you order a personalized hammer to be shipped overseas we are legally obliged to write "hammer" on the customs label. If this is likely to ruin a surprise then please arrange with us for your item to be sent to a different address where the recipient will not see it when it arrives.

If you choose the Collect in Person option, we will charge £1.50 for packaging.

UK Royal Mail aim to get post to countries outside Europe (US, Canada etc.) in 5-7 days - however there can be a delay at customs or with the delivery service in the destination country, and therefore they cannot guarantee that your item will arrive by a specific date. We apologise that these timescales cannot be more accurate but we don't want to make a promise that can't be kept, so please bear this in mind before you order.

We offer shipping upgrades on all items being sent to countries outside of the UK (upgrading to TRACKED shipping) and you will then be able to track your parcel on its journey to you.


Due to the personalised nature of our products, refunds are not offered unless a product is faulty.


CUSTOM ORDERS: Cove Calligraphy are very happy to accept custom orders - if you have an idea then please get in touch - we love to turn dreams into reality!

PHOTOGRAPHS: We love to show off our work using photographs of past orders, giving all our customers a better idea of what their finished gift will look like. Please let us know if you would like us NOT to use a photograph of your item. If there is a date on the item, i.e. a wedding date, we will always wait until the date has passed before posting a photograph (just in case the recipient stumbles across it and spoils the surprise!). As always, please get in touch if you have any questions - we are always happy to help!
